My journey into physiotherapy started later in life following a break from education once completing my A Levels. During this time, I discovered a passion for the gym and performance-based training to underpin my sport. Thus, I went to university and completed my undergraduate degree in sports strength and conditioning. I really enjoyed this degree and managed to work alongside sports scholars at the university and with Bristol City football club academy. However, I really found my passion within the rehabilitation modules which led me to study a masters in Physiotherapy.
I enjoy all areas of physiotherapy but particularly enjoy managing lower limb injuries and working with those with the goal of returning to sport. I have worked at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic hospital and have experience in post-operative rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and managing general musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain and tendinopathies. Being able to apply strength and conditioning principles within my practice is advantageous and allows for a creative and periodised approach to rehabilitation. I am really excited to lead Senior Physiotherapist of the ACL Rehab & Performance Plan here at the clinic.
Outside of work my hobbies include the gym, playing netball, hiking, travelling and finding the best coffee and brunch spots.
