Pilates Instructor (Physiotherapist)

I qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2009 and have spent most of my career working within the Musculoskeletal field – dealing with injuries. I chose Physiotherapy as a career following multiple ankle injuries as a teenager, and as I loved sport, the treatment I received from a Physio kept my ankle good enough to keep playing.

I have worked across a variety of sectors from the NHS, private practice, amateur sport and the MOD. I love meeting different people and find it so satisfying to play a part in keeping them doing the things they enjoy.

I became interested in how Pilates can compliment lots of other hobbies as well as general life by teaching controlled movement and strengthening the mind and body connection, and as such completed the APPI Matwork and Reformer Pilates certifications.

Outside of work I love running and generally being outdoors and have a young son who keeps me on my toes.
